GLISA is the Graduate Library and Information Studies Association, a student chapter of the American Library Association host at Texas Woman's University in Denton, Texas. GLISA's purpose is to promote the social, cultural, intellectual, and professional growth of its members, and to support the School of Library and Information Studies.  GLISA facilitates and encourages participation in the American Library Association and sponsors a GLISA Student Award each year, enabling a TWU SLIS student to attend and participate in the ALA Annual Conference.

The easiest way to participate is via GLISA's Blackboard site. Whether you live in Denton, Houston, Minnesota, or Malaysia, the Blackboard organizational site is the place where GLISA members share ideas, questions, and concerns with other SLIS students and faculty. To join the Blackboard forum, please complete our membership application.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact the GLISA officers at glisaala@yahoo.com
